FIELD: thermal power plants.

SUBSTANCE: selective extraction of carbon dioxide from a gas mixture with nitrogen using the membrane gas separation method. To separate carbon dioxide from the flue gases of a thermal power plant (TPP), a flue gas flow consisting of N2 and CO2 with concentrations of 83 and 17 mol.%, respectively, is fed at a speed of 976,154 kmol/h under a pressure of 0.15 MPa into the first membrane module. The flow is divided into two flows, one of which is removed from the supra-membrane space of the first membrane module. The second flow is removed from the sub-membrane space under a pressure of 0.02 MPa and supplied to the second membrane module at a pressure of 0.15 MPa, where it is divided into two flows, one of which is removed from the sub-membrane space of the second membrane module at a pressure of 0.02 MPa. The second flow is directed to the third membrane module at a pressure of 0.15 MPa, where it is divided into two flows. The first of the flows is mixed with the flue gas flow before entering the first membrane module, and the second flow is mixed with the flow exiting the sub-membrane space of the first membrane module.

EFFECT: increasing the power efficiency of the release of carbon dioxide from the flue gases of TPP and increasing the concentration of the released carbon dioxide.
