FIELD: plumbing connections.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to structures and parts for plumbing connections. A plumbing connector (10) for use in a plumbing assembly (100) includes a flexible pipe portion (102). The connector (10) contains a connector body (12) having an axial through hole (16). The connector body (12) includes the first end portion (18) configured to insert and engage an interior portion of the flexible pipe portion (102), and the second end portion (20) for connection to the second pipe portion (104) so as to connect the flexible pipe portion (102) with the second pipe portion (104). The cuff (14) is located at a location on the first end portion (18) of the connector body (12). The first end portion (18) of the connector body (12) includes a retaining device (30) configured to engage the interior of the flexible pipe portion (102) to secure the connector body (12) to the flexible pipe portion (102) and hold the cuff (14) on the connector body (12).
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to quickly and accurately make connections without the need to cut sections of pipe on site, taking up less space required while limiting access.
