FIELD: packaging.
SUBSTANCE: methods for producing food packaging film used for chilled and frozen semi-finished products. A method for producing food packaging film is described by mixing a structure former, a plasticizer, an adhesive filler - microcrystalline cellulose, water, with a component ratio of wt.%: structure former – pectin 1–3, plasticizer – glycerin 3–7, filler – microcrystalline cellulose 1–2, water 88–95, after which the resulting composition is dried to a final moisture content of 8%, a water-repellent layer is applied to the surface of the film above and below by casting layer in the form of a paraffin solution in hexane heated to a temperature of 45-55°C in a mass ratio of 1:6 and kept until hexane evaporates completely.
EFFECT: improving the quality characteristics of food packaging film and enhancing its water-repellent properties.
