FIELD: medicine; internal medicine; gastroenterology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the development of post-Covid syndrome in the gastrointestinal tract in patients who have had COVID-19. In venous blood serum, the level of total rheumatoid factor (RF), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-18) is determined by enzyme immunoassay. With total RF values of 14.81 U/ml and higher, IL-6 of 3.86 pg/ml and higher, IL-18 of 394.74 pg/ml and higher, the risk of developing post-Covid syndrome from the gastrointestinal tract is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain criteria for predicting the risk of developing post-Covid syndrome from the gastrointestinal tract by determining the following immunological markers in the blood: rheumatoid factor, IL-6 and IL-18.
