METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING VEGETATIVE DISORDERS IN POST-COVID SYNDROME IN SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01N33/68 G01N33/573

Abstract RU 2815165 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurology, and can be used for diagnosing vegetative disorders accompanying post-COVID syndrome in school-aged children using laboratory data. Patient’s saliva is analysed for quantitative content of monocyte chemotactic protein-1 by solid-phase ELISA. If its value is from 3.5 to 19.64 pg/ml, the absence of vegetative disturbances is stated in post-COVID syndrome. If the value of monocytic chemotactic protein-1 is 19.65 pg/ml and more, vegetative disorders are diagnosed in post-COVID syndrome.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of increasing the specificity and accuracy, accessibility, non-invasiveness, objectifying the diagnosis of vegetative disorders in school-aged children by determining the content of monocytic chemotactic protein-1 in the patient's saliva.
