FIELD: main gas pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: operation of gas distribution stations (GDS) of main gas pipelines, in particular, operation of gas purification units. The technical result is achieved by the fact that the high-pressure purged gas from the gas purification unit, equipped with active and reserve purification filters, is passed through the drainage pipeline into a closed condensate collection tank. After that, gas from the condensate collection tank is fed through a small purification filter and an equalizing pipeline into the outlet pipeline of GDS with low pressure. In this case, after reaching a pressure in the condensate collection tank equal to the pressure in the GDS outlet pipeline, the gas remaining in the condensate collection tank is fed through a small purification filter, first through a low-pressure gas pipeline with a regulator valve set to the nominal gas pressure in front of the gas heater burner, to the burner unit gas heater GDS, and then when the pressure reaches less than the nominal gas pressure in front of the burner of the gas heater - by outlet with a regulator valve set to the nominal gas pressure in front of the burner of the heating boiler, to the block of burners of the heating boiler GDS.

EFFECT: exclusion of gas emissions into the atmosphere during blowdowns of gas purification units and resource saving due to the saving of natural gas, which, instead of being blown into the atmosphere, undergoes additional purification, is fed into the outlet pipeline of the gas distribution station, the gas heater unit and the heating boiler of GDS and is used for its own process needs.
