FIELD: purification systems.

SUBSTANCE: methods for purifying sea water from salt using reverse osmosis methods and sea wave energy. The invention may be applicable for agricultural, industrial and domestic water supply. A method for using a reverse osmosis module, a buoy with positive buoyancy, a drum with a ratchet mechanism, a high-pressure pump, an air chamber with an elastic membrane, a connecting cable and a bottom weight. An additional cable is wound onto a drum with a ratcheting mechanism in the direction opposite to the cable connected to the high-pressure pump. A weight is attached to the end of the additional cable, which, when the buoy is lowered down into the wave trough, unwinds the additional cable and winds the cable connected to the high-pressure pump onto the drum. Floats connected to the ratchet pawl are installed in the body of the buoy symmetrically to its center. The pawl is released from engagement by the buoyant force of water acting on the floats when the level of the water area rises due to surge and tidal phenomena, allowing the buoy to float. The pawl is engaged in the ratchet mechanism by the weight of the floats while the buoyancy force of the water acting on the floats is reduced, with a decrease in the level of the water area due to surge and tidal phenomena. A float valve is installed on a buoy with positive buoyancy, controlled by the buoyant force of water, which automatically closes the air line of the chamber with an elastic membrane during storm impacts on the buoy, leading to complete flooding of the buoy.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of operation in a wide range of changes in the surface level of the water area, preventing sea water from entering the air chamber with an elastic membrane during storm impacts on the buoy.
