SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of increasing the amount of pregnane X receptor (PXR). The invention makes it possible to induce the amount of PRX by cultivating a human colon adenocarcinoma cell line in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with a glucose content of 4,500 mg/l, containing L-glutamine 4 mM, 15% bovine serum, 100 U/ml penicillin and 100 μg/ml streptomycin for 21 days, followed by the addition of DL-buthionine sulfoximine to the medium until its concentration in the medium is 100 and 500 μM, followed by incubation for 24 or 72 hours, or 50 μM, followed by incubation for 72 hours.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to develop an accessible and effective method of increasing the amount of pregnane X receptor in an in vivo experiment.
