SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of increasing the hemocompatibility of a polymer medical product intended for contact with blood, including the immobilization of heparin on its surface, characterized by the following: thermal denaturation of bovine serum albumin is performed in its aqueous solution; then the surface of the medical device is treated by incubating it in the resulting solution, after which the product is washed; then the medical device is treated by incubating it in an aqueous solution of heparin; after which the product is washed; next, the surface of the medical device is treated by incubating it in an aqueous solution of glutaraldehyde, after which the medical device is washed.

EFFECT: increasing the hemocompatibility of medical products made from polymers by reducing the degree of activation of adherent platelets and increasing the amount of heparin immobilized on their surface; prevention of complications associated with exposure of polymer products to aggressive substances by reducing the concentration of glutaraldehyde in the solution when treating the surface of the polymer; no need to use human blood products.
