SUBSTANCE: technique for drilling wells filled with low-temperature liquid with a continuous bottom in ice massifs used for drilling by melting with simultaneous or sequential expansion of wells in ice, subsequent removal of drilling products from the bottom and their extraction to the surface. The thermohydraulic drilling tool includes a cable lock, a pump compartment with a pump installed inside it, a circulation compartment consisting of an inner pipe and an outer pipe, a crown, inside of which a ring heating element is fixed. The crown is made in the shape of a cylinder with a spherical lower end surface. The pump compartment is made in the form of a cylinder with an internal discharge hydraulic channel and a water intake hydraulic channel, inside of which a water intake check valve is rigidly fixed, and a water-lifting pipe is rigidly installed in the upper part of the water intake hydraulic channel. In the lower part of the pump compartment, on the side of the discharge hydraulic channel, a discharge check valve is rigidly fixed. A drainage compartment is installed on top of the pumping compartment, which consists of a drainage tank in which a water-lifting pipe is installed with a drainage tank heating element and a cone-shaped separator attached to it, and flow windows are made in the upper part of the drainage tank, and a drain valve is installed in the lower part.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of drilling by melting holes in ice.
