SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for positioning the user's body and a method for controlling this device. The device contains a seat element. Also contains a back element having a module of the pelvic and lumbar spine, and a computing unit. The back element is connected to the seat element. The pelvic and lumbar spine module contains at least one adjustment element and at least one sensor. The seat element contains at least one adjustment element and at least three sensors.
