FIELD: positioning device.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for positioning the user's body and a method for controlling this device. The device contains a seat element. Also contains a back element having a module of the pelvic and lumbar spine, and a computing unit. The back element is connected to the seat element. The pelvic and lumbar spine module contains at least one adjustment element and at least one sensor. The seat element contains at least one adjustment element and at least three sensors. The sensors are connected to the computing unit and are configured to record pressures on the seat and pad of the user in the seat element and in the pelvic and lumbar spine module. The computing unit is connected to the adjustment elements and is designed to evaluate the pressures on the seat and pad and to activate the adjustment elements. The first and second sensors and the third sensor are configured to detect the seat pressure of the first and second ischial tuberosities and the seat pressure of the coccyx in an upright sitting position of the user. The first and second ischial tuberosities determine the level of the ischial tuberosity. The adjustment element of the seat element is configured to align the level of the ischial tuberosity horizontally relative to the sagittal axis of the user in the event of differences in pressure on the seat and/or pad, and then the adjustment element of the pelvic and lumbar spine module is configured to move the user's pelvis to tilt relative to its horizontal axis until the pressure on the seat and/or tailbone pad reaches zero.
EFFECT: improvement in body position in a sitting position.
