FIELD: bridge construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates namely to strengthening the supports of a bridge structure. A method for strengthening the supports of a bridge structure involves installing vertical contour blocks around the support. Injection piles and pipes are used as vertical contour blocks. First, partially perforated injection piles are installed with penetration into the ground, then pipes are installed on them with a depth of 150-200 mm into the ground, with pipes of a larger diameter than the injection piles. The injection piles are then injected with a cement composition, which penetrates through the holes into the soil around the pile, forming a pear-shaped cemented shape. Next, the pipes are attached to the support using anchors and the resulting structure is tied with metal strands. After which the pipes are filled with crushed stone of a fraction of 10-40 mm, and then a cement composition is pumped into the pipes. And finally, formwork is installed around the perimeter of the installed pipes and the space between the pipes and the support body is concreted.
EFFECT: strengthening the body of the bridge support by increasing the cross-sectional area of the support and creating an external protective metal-concrete shell.
