FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to ensure the interaction of equipment when testing input-output devices. When issuing each packet, the control equipment performs the following actions: if there is a need to read the information of the input-output device from the transit device on previously sent packets, then the control equipment reads the information from the input-output device, otherwise it proceeds to the next action; if there are pending packets for the input-output device that were not previously issued due to waiting for information to be read from the input-output device, then the control equipment proceeds to issue them, otherwise it proceeds to the next action; if the current packet is intended for an input-output device for which a packet was previously sent, suggesting reading information from the input-output device and this information has not yet been received, then the control equipment postpones its issuance and proceeds to the issuance of the next packet, otherwise it sends it to the input-output device.
EFFECT: increase in the performance of testing tools by performing packet exchange in an asynchronous mode, which eliminates the "simple" control equipment while waiting for information from the input-output device.
