FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method based on generation of digital signals and their transmission to local network by means of address package and sending information, wherein digital signals are formed by setting control points in form of a set of current and voltage parameters corresponding to test points of tested instruments, then digital signals are sampled by level with simultaneous correction of arising errors by constant round-off of digital signals counts within the cycle considering rounding error at the previous cycle and transmitted to local network. Device for forming parameters of electrical signals for digital electrical substations comprises unit for setting values of parameters of current and voltage signals, a unit for converting preset parameters into current and voltage signals, a unit for generating data for transmission to a local area network and a unit for correcting predetermined signal parameters, which is in form of series-connected adder and quantizer, which output is connected to quantization error calculating unit first input and is output of correction unit connected to input of data generating unit for transmission to local network, other input of quantization error calculation unit is connected to quantizer input, and the output of the quantization error calculating unit is connected to the input of the delay element, the output of which is connected to the second input of the adder, the first input of which is connected to the output of the unit for converting the specified parameters into current and voltage signals.

EFFECT: high accuracy of transmitting parameters of digital signals at low signal level values.
