FIELD: laser welding.
SUBSTANCE: method for joining dispersion-hardening heat-resistant alloys and corrosion-resistant steels through a transition layer of bronze alloys used in the production of precision mechanics devices, in the nuclear, space industry and other fields of mechanical engineering. When implementing the method, an insert made of a bronze alloy, other than a tin bronze alloy, is placed between the edges to be welded as a transition metal, so that it protrudes above the surface of each of the parts to be welded, after which the laser beam is focused on the protruding surface of the insert, and the laser is pulsed on insert, while the laser energy, frequency, and pulse duration are selected in such a way as to fuse the insert onto both parts to be welded.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the threaded connection.
