FIELD: ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: used to increase information about the effectiveness of the destructive effect of cluster bombs on ground-based complex group objects. A method for determining damage to a group object due to the damaging effect of cluster bomblets consists in detonating bomblets extracted from cluster bombs at given trajectory points, delivered to the object and placed at a certain distance from each other, creating an information center for monitoring the delivery of bomblets to the object, each of which is equipped with a beacon that is triggered when a bomblet interacts with an object. After the delivery of all bomblets is recorded by the information monitoring center, a general command is formed to detonate the bomblets. The surveillance information center additionally determines the dimensions and geometric center of the group object, after which it forms a coordinate system associated with the geometric center of the group object, and describes all vulnerable objects in its composition by rectangles with the determination of the coordinates of their geometric centers. The surveillance information center determines the coordinates of the landed bomblets, forms circular reduced zones of bomblet destruction with centers at the points of their detonation, determines the fact that the circular reduced zones of bomblet destruction cover vulnerable objects in the group object, determines the degree of damage caused by bomblets to the group object. The surveillance information center determines the amount of damage caused by projectiles to a group object, which is characterized by the degree of damage U as the ratio of the sum of damage indicators and the number of objects:
where: Iei are indicators of the destruction of each i-th vulnerable object, and N is the number of objects, after which it transmits information about damage caused by bomblets to a dangerous object to the command control post.
EFFECT: increasing the information content of the method by determining the degree of damage caused to a ground-based complex group object by the damaging effect of cluster bomblets.
