FIELD: medicine; breast surgery.

SUBSTANCE: skin incision is made in the submammary fold, the parenchyma of the gland is separated from the chest wall and the skin-subcutaneous tissue of the dome of the mammary gland in the cranial direction from the border of the gland along the entire perimeter to the submammary zone. After that, a skin incision is made from the outside through the perimeter of the base of the nipple. Next, the nipple is immersed inside through the resulting hole and all separated parenchyma with the nipple is removed, from the inside on the areola along the perimeter at a distance of 1 cm from the edges of the resulting round hole, a purse-string suture is applied from a non-absorbable thread, which is pulled together and sutured, protruding outward so that a part of the areola forms a new nipple. After that, an implant is installed into the wound cavity and the skin in the submammary fold is sutured with an intradermal suture.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to achieve a long-term aesthetic effect due to the normal projection of the nipple, the symmetry of the mammary glands — operated and healthy, and improve the quality of life of patients after complex treatment for breast cancer.
