SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to aerosol generating substrate for use in an element in the form of an aerosol source and to an element in the form of an aerosol source for use with an aerosol delivery device. Aerosol generating substrate for use in the element in the form of the aerosol source contains fibrous filler material, aerosol forming material, and a set of heat-conducting components. The specified substrate is firstly formed in the form of a substrate sheet, and heat-conducting components are part of the specified substrate sheet. The substrate sheet is further cut to a set of pieces. A combination of mixed pieces of the specified set of pieces contains the specified substrate. Aerosol generating substrate for use in the element in the form of the aerosol source additionally contains an outer wrapping sheet made with the possibility of wrapping around substrate. The specified outer wrapping sheet includes a set of heat-conducting components containing a sequence of bands, formed on a surface of the outer wrapping sheet.

EFFECT: provision of a feeling of smoking cigarettes, cigars, or smoking pipes without burning substrate material, without the need for burning a heat source, and due to increased operational characteristics.
