FIELD: aerosol generating materials.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to support materials and elements in form of an aerosol source containing support materials for aerosol delivery devices and systems. The substrate portion for use in the aerosol source element comprises an assembled composite substrate sheet, the composite substrate sheet comprising a nonwoven sheet formed at least in part from regenerated cellulose fibres; a plurality of conductive threads embedded in the non-woven fabric; and a coating that includes a fibrous material and at least 10% of an aerosol precursor composition. In this case, the regenerated cellulose fibres have a multi-lobed cross-section. The aerosol source element includes the above-mentioned substrate portion, wherein the substrate portion is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape and the covering layer is positioned close to the outer surface of the substrate portion.

EFFECT: increase in performance characteristics without significant combustion of the substrate material.
