FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device for intranasal delivery and methods of its use and manufacture. The device contains a nozzle having a reservoir located inside the nozzle. The device includes a globe valve inserted into the reservoir. The device has a retainer that is hollow and configured to hold the through valve. The device contains a manual air pump having a working connection with the inlet end of the nozzle and the outlet end of the clamp. The straight-through valve has a contact area with the latch and is motionless when the hand pump is activated. The reservoir contains a powder medicinal product placed in it. The retainer contains a groove configured to catch the powdered medicinal product falling from the nozzle. According to the method of use, the nozzle of the device is placed into the nostril of the subject, and a manual air pump is activated. The nozzle contains a powdered drug. The manufacturing method includes the following steps: inserting a through valve into the nozzle, inserting a retainer into the hand air pump, and attaching the hand air pump to the nozzle.
EFFECT: administration of a powdered medicinal product to a subject in need of treatment.
