FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates namely to the design of an electrically conductive connection in an electrolytic cell, namely to an external electrically conductive connection associated with the current-carrying part and the electroactive part of the electrochemical cell. The result is achieved by the fact that the external electrically conductive connection contains a current-carrying part, made in the form of an outward-facing branch, combined through an L-shaped transition with an electroactive part, made in the form of a ring-shaped plate, the ribs of which have a serrated surface, while on the side of the outer and inner serrated surface there are curved L-shaped clamps and locking end parts that provide mating at the connection areas. The electrically conductive connection has improved gas removal and virtually eliminates direct contact with the electrolytic medium, which creates conditions of high corrosion resistance.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the electrically conductive connection and the service life of the electrochemical cell.
