FIELD: machine tool building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to technological equipment for machining parts, and can be used for external cylindrical grinding of cylindrical bushings. The method involves using a device consisting of an expanding mandrel in the form of a cylindrical bushing with slots made parallel to the axis of the bushing and an internal conical hole into which a conical-shaped pressing mandrel is inserted. The clamping mandrel has a coaxial hole into which a pusher is inserted with the possibility of axial movement. An expanding mandrel is installed on the pusher coaxially with the possibility of axial movement. The pusher in the clamping mandrel is pressed by a spring. The cylindrical bushing is mounted on an expanding mandrel, with the pusher protruding from the expanding mandrel. When compressing the spring, the device is installed in the centres in such a way that one centre rests against the protruding end of the pusher, and the other against the end of the clamping mandrel.
EFFECT: auxiliary processing time of cylindrical bushings is reduced, ensuring high alignment accuracy and versatility of the device used.
