METHOD FOR MOUNTING PART ORIENTED ACCORDING TO PLANE AND OPENINGS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: machine engineering, mechanical working, assembling, testing operations. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing part in attachment and orienting it according to plane and openings having axes crossing part; providing initial guaranteed radial gaps between inner expanding mounting members in the form of afterpushing pins of collet chuck and basic surfaces of part openings; basing part at taking up radial gaps by means of expanding afterpushing pins and fixing part due to forced contact of said pins and basic surfaces of part openings; afterpushing part towards mounting plane by action of elastic axial deformation at compression of above mentioned pins of collet chuck. In order to enhance accuracy and reliability, at first construction and geometry parameters of basic openings of part are selected and evaluated; corresponding to them shape of working surfaces of afterpushing pins of collet chuck is also selected and evaluated. Then necessary clamping effort and successive steps of mounting are determined. According to evaluation results, axial and radial rigidity values of afterpushing pins of collet chuck are set. Relation of said rigidity values is equal to 1 or more according to successive steps and parameters of mounting process. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of mounting part. 8 dwg
