SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of anomaly diagnostics and can be used to diagnose anomalies in equipment containing a drive mechanism. The system includes a sampling sensor and a computing device configured to: perform the first anomaly determination to determine the presence of an anomaly based on the result of the first principal component analysis; if the first anomaly determination detects the presence of an anomaly, performing the second anomaly determination to determine the presence of an anomaly based on the result of the second principal component analysis; and if the result of the second anomaly determination indicates the presence of an anomaly, diagnosing the equipment as having an anomaly.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of anomaly detection by preventing erroneous diagnosis of equipment as having an anomaly, when the equipment actually does not have an anomaly.
