FIELD: hydraulic engineering construction; ice-cutting installation.

SUBSTANCE: ice-cutting machine consists of a sled on which stands with block rollers are installed, an internal combustion engine and starting equipment for starting it, a working cutting element in the form of a diamond cable, a reduction gear, a flywheel and a manual or hydraulic winch for moving the installation and creating tension on the diamond cable by adjusting the length. Through block rollers, one end of the diamond cable is connected to one of the extreme points of the flywheel, which makes circular movements, by transmitting rotational motion from the internal combustion engine through a reduction gearbox, and a block of combined weights is suspended on the other end of the diamond cable. Additionally, there is a tube through which exhaust gases from the internal combustion engine are discharged into the ice cut.

EFFECT: preventing the freezing of ice chips at the cut site and increasing the likelihood of rescuing the crew of a wrecked submarine lying on the ground, as well as to facilitate the lifting of products and objects from under the sea ice in Arctic regions.
