SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of using a binary system to increase the effectiveness of an antibacterial agent. The method involves exposing a bacterial cell in a random order to a binary system, which consists of an antibacterial agent capable of binding to the active center of bacterial RNA polymerase (bRNAP) and an agent that increases the expression and/or activity of the elongation factor in the bacterium.
EFFECT: obtaining agents with antibacterial effect based on enhancing the action of the bRNAP inhibitor while increasing the expression and/or activity of the bRNAP elongation factor.
