SUBSTANCE: technical result of the invention is to improve system performance due to the fact that the response to the search space (SS) group switching algorithm in several cells in a group of serving cells is faster. To do this, the terminal device monitors the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in the first serving cell according to the search space set (SS) corresponding to the first group identifier. In response to recognition of the first DCI format in the second serving cell in the first group of serving cells by the terminal device according to the SS set corresponding to the identifier of the first group, the terminal device performs, starting from the first slot in the first serving cell, PDCCH tracking in the first serving cell according to the SS set corresponding to the second group ID, and stops performing PDCCH tracking according to the SS set corresponding to the first group ID. The first slot is the first slot after at least P1 symbols after the last PDCCH symbol having the first DCI format.
EFFECT: improving the system performance due to the fact that the response to the search space (SS) group switching algorithm in several cells in a group of serving cells is faster.
