FIELD: hydraulic structures.

SUBSTANCE: segmental gates driven by a hydraulic drive. Segmental gate with hydraulic drive contains segmental gate, drive motor with start-up equipment, adjustable pump with reverse flow, high pressure hydraulic lines. The segmental gate is driven by a hydraulic motor, the speed and direction of which is provided by the flow rate of the working fluid of the pump. The adjustable pump is equipped with an electro-hydraulic control mechanism and is controlled by the variable pump control unit. The gate is controlled by a control device, which sets the position angle and the rotation speed of the segmented gate to the variable pump control unit. Feedback on the rotation speed and angle of position of the segmental gate, as well as corrective links on the pressure drop in the high-pressure hydraulic lines and the water level difference on the segmental gate, are introduced into the control unit of the adjustable pump. The feedback signals come from the rotation speed and angular position sensors of the segmental gate shaft, respectively, as well as corrective links, respectively, from the differential pressure sensor installed in the high-pressure hydraulic lines and the water level sensor on the segmental gate.

EFFECT: high-quality positioning and retention of a segmental gate in any angular position with a given accuracy. It has controllability of a segment gate, taking into account the difference in the water level on it.
