SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrohydraulic servo drives with machine throttle control and adjustable pump equipped with flow regulator (LS-regulator). Based on the control signal supplied to the corresponding input of controller 15 from setting device 16, generating a control signal supplied from the output of controller 15 to the electric control unit of the throttling hydraulic control valve 2, and when the power consumed by controlled pump 1 increases in accordance with the control signal of setter 16 to the maximum permissible value, a control signal is sent to the electric control unit of the throttling hydraulic control valve 2, generated by controller 15 based on the condition of providing the current value of power consumed by pump 1, which is equal to the maximum allowable maximum power value.

EFFECT: wider field of application of the drive control method for cases when there is a limitation on the maximum value of power consumed by the pump.
