SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the treatment of chronic periodontitis. The method involves administering of a medicinal product in the form of an oil solution based on Yagel biologically active additive, vitamin A and sage extract obtained by mixing the components with the following composition, in wt.%: 54–55 of Yagel biologically active additive, dry residue, 33–35 of vitamin A oil solution, 10–13 of sage extract. Next, the prepared solution is injected directly into the pathological periodontal pocket, followed by fixation by applying an antiseptic self-hardening paste. The daily procedure includes a one-time injection of a solution and application of a paste; the course of treatment is 7–10 procedures.

EFFECT: invention provides effective treatment of chronic periodontitis and helps to prevent complications of pathological processes in periodontal tissues.
