FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used in the examination of patients for the diagnosis of the initial stage of acute renal injury (ARI) in the postoperative period. A method for diagnosing acute renal injury after radical cystectomy includes determining the concentration of lipocalin-2 (uNGAL) and interleukin-18 (uIL-18) in urine. The study is carried out on the 3rd day after the operation. Additionally, the concentration of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (uMMP-9) is determined in the urine. When uNGAL values are more than 156.87 ng/ml, uIL-18 is more than 84.66 ng/ml, uMMP-9 is more than 146.31 ng/ml, acute kidney injury is diagnosed, the patient is classified as a CKD risk group in the long-term postoperative period.
EFFECT: invention improves the accuracy of diagnosing the early stage of ARI in the postoperative period before the appearance of the classical generally recognized signs of ARI, simplification and reduction of the duration of the study.
