SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for preparing a digital 3D model, as well as to a machine-readable storage medium containing a computer program. The method includes an additive manufacturing system containing: an additive manufacturing device (2) for generating a 3D object (3) corresponding to a prepared digital 3D model, attached to a platform (4), which is configured to be gradually moved upward, from a liquid photocurable resin (5a) in the bath (6), and at least one additional processing device (7) for performing at least one of washing, drying and curing the 3D object (3) received and maintained in a state of attachment to the platform (4) during additional processing. Moreover, the method includes a stage at which: a digital 3D model is provided in the required print orientation relative to the platform (4). In this case, the method additionally includes stages in which: fluid accumulating, cup-shaped, open areas (8) and fluid suction, dome-shaped, open areas (9) of the digital 3D model are determined for the required print orientation relative to the platform (4) and include at least one waste channel (10) and at least one ventilation channel (11) into a fluid accumulating, cup-shaped, open area (8) and a fluid suction, dome-shaped, open area (9) in the digital 3D model, respectively, in order to prevent accumulation of fluid (5a, 5b) and suction of fluid (5a, 5b), respectively, during the generation process and during the post-processing process.
EFFECT: providing a method for preparing a digital 3D model suitable for generation and additional processing without turning over in an additive manufacturing system.
