SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solid fuel briquettes based on carbon-comprising materials, in particular to fuel briquettes used in domestic conditions for autonomous, environmentally friendly and economical heating of residential and commercial premises and greenhouses, especially in areas that do not have natural fuels (wood, stone coal, peat, etc.), for fireplaces, camp stoves, samovars and for heating railway cars, change houses for workers and military personnel, as well as for cooking in barbecues, grills and barbecues. A fuel briquette comprising pre-mixed ground carbon-comprising filler and a binder is disclosed. Biomass from ground Sosnowski's hogweed plants is used as a binder. The briquette is compressed with the removal of the liquid component and dried.

EFFECT: use as a binder for fuel briquettes of a widespread local resource, Sosnovsky's hogweed, which has not previously been used for these purposes, as well as resource saving, environmental improvement and prevention of clogging fertile soils due to the enormous spread of Sosnovsky's hogweed in Russia.
