FIELD: waste processing devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a reactor for a waste processing device, made in the form of a closed cavity, made with an inlet connected to a waste supply device, and with an outlet for removing gaseous degradation products. The reactor is characterized by the fact that the internal surfaces of the cavity are partially or completely conductive, and an electrode isolated from them is introduced into the reactor, connected to a source of high-voltage voltage pulses, and the size of the gap between the electrode and the conductive surfaces of the cavity ensures the formation of pulsed corona discharge plasma streamers when applied to the electrode high voltage impulses.
EFFECT: proposed reactor provides the destruction of both organic and inorganic substances that are part of solid and/or liquid household waste.
