FIELD: air purification systems.

SUBSTANCE: air purification device, in which air purification is carried out due to the effect of corona discharge streamers on air molecules and on particles polluting it. The effect is achieved in an air purification device containing a high-voltage pulse generator, external an electrode designed as a metal pipe with grounding, and interior electrode. The inner electrode is designed as a metal rod, rigidly fixed along the axis of the pipe with a fastening element, and contains a metal blade electrically connected to the inner electrode, connected to the outer electrode through insulators. Streamers of a corona pulsed discharge are formed between the inner and outer electrodes. Inner electrode located with a gap relative to the output electrode of the high-voltage pulse generator. The size of this gap ensures its breakdown by the pulses of the high-voltage pulse generator.

EFFECT: air purification due to the effect of corona discharge streamers on air molecules and on particles polluting it.
