DEVICE FOR SIMULATING ELECTROPHYSIOLOGICAL RESPONSES OF MYOCARDIUM DURING MECHANICAL STRETCHING Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G09B23/28 A61B5/02 A61F2/24

Abstract RU 2810961 C1

FIELD: physiology and medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to research and educational devices. A device for simulating electrophysiological responses of the myocardium during mechanical stretching includes a sensor for recording intraventricular pressure, a recording unit in the form of a computer and a photo and video camera, upper and lower plates with an adjustable screw connection for tightening the plates separated by a span in which a cross-section sample is placed in working condition ventricle of the heart. The top plate is made transparent for photo and video recording. The bottom plate is matte to ensure shooting contrast. The hole in the lower plate imitates the atrioventricular orifice and is connected to a peristaltic pump to supply saline solution into the internal cavity and its outflow through a connecting silicone tube with the ability to adjust and control the amount of pressure supplied to the cut cavity. The multichannel system for synchronous recording of biopotentials of the recording unit is connected to a computer and electrodes, which are built into the lower matte plate and located radially to the center of the cross-section of the heart.

EFFECT: synchronous recording of multiple electrograms during myocardial irritation and accurate visual measurement of local extensibility values of cross sections of the heart of experimental animals are achieved.
