SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to cardiac surgery, endovascular surgery and interventional arrhythmology. Catheter equipped with a light guide for transmitting laser radiation is inserted into the heart. Pathological foci in the right atrium and right ventricle are determined and their laser destruction is carried out. In this case, the catheter is equipped with electrodes for measuring electric potential. Continuous monitoring of the endocardium in the area of interest of local electric potentials in point local electrograms is carried out, which are displayed on a monitor during the determination of pathological foci and laser destruction. Laser destruction of pathological foci in the right atrium and right ventricle is carried out by applying laser radiation to pathological foci with a wavelength of 1064 nm through the light guide and power of 10–15 watts for 5–60 s to reduce the point electrical pathological amplitudes to acceptable values.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the efficiency of laser destruction of pathological ectopic foci, recurrent zones and disorders of the cardiac conduction system while simultaneously increasing the treatment safety.
