FIELD: pre-flotation conditioning devices.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to a device for pre-flotation conditioning of a flotation suspension with a wide particle size distribution, suitable for the flotation of coal slurry. The device contains a suspension conditioning drum having a column-shaped structure in the upper part and an inverted truncated cone structure in the lower part, an outlet for the suspension made in the upper part of the side wall, separating holes of the pump for the suspension made on both sides below the outlet for the suspension, jet suspension supply holes, made on both sides of the columnar structure, and annular cutting insulating plates and flow direction plates located alternately on the inner sides of the upper half of the suspension conditioning drum, a chemical supply system with two-channel jet circulation containing chemical supply pipes. Each chemical supply pipe contains an inlet end, a diffuser end and a chemical supply hole located in the neck area of said pipe. The inlet end is connected to the tee by a centrifugal pump, which is connected to the slurry inlet and the separation hole of the slurry pump, the mixing shaft is located in the axial direction inside the slurry conditioning drum, a plurality of mixing blade impellers is located on the mixing shaft, and the two lowest mixing blades the wheels and the two lowest annular cutting insulating plates are located at the same horizontal height.

EFFECT: improvement of hydrophobic flocculation of coal slurry and separation of finely dispersed sludge, improvement of the effect of pre-treatment of the suspension and effective reduction of the internal pressure of the flow field inside the flotation device, which, in turn, leads to increased flotation efficiency and improved concentrate quality.
