FIELD: reactors for two-phase or three-phase systems. SUBSTANCE: reactor is used for aeration of liquid containing suspension of mineral particles by gas; air or another oxygen-containing gas may be used for the purpose. Reactor includes liquid mixing tank, partition for dividing the tank into two parts, first pump and aerator unit. First pump is located in one of chambers for downward circulation of liquid in one chamber and upward circulation in other chamber. Aerator unit is designed for aeration of side portion of flow and introducing aerated liquid into tank for mixing it with liquid circulating in tank. Aerator unit with Venturi tube has aerator inlet, aerator outlet, restrictor between aerator inlet and outlet and device for introducing gas into restrictor for aeration of liquid. Restrictor between aerator inlet and outlet has elongated section which is transversal relative to flow of liquid. Aerator unit is mounted in tank for aeration of side portion of liquid flow. method of aeration of liquid with gas includes forming zone of reduced pressure in liquid in way of flow introducing gas into this zone for aeration of liquid. Zone of reduced pressure is elongated in section which is transversal relative to flow of liquid through zone of reduced pressure. EFFECT: low power requirements; enhanced efficiency of aeration of liquid flow. 41 cl, 9 dwg
