FIELD: electric power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to install a short circuit indicator (SCI) on the wire of an overhead power line (OPL). A device for attaching a short circuit indicator (SCI) to an overhead power line wire, located in the upper part of the SCI housing, containing two brackets equipped with recesses: a clamping one and a holding one, designed to encircle and hold the overhead power line wire between them. The brackets are installed on axes fixed to the base of the clamp, having the ability to rotate on these axes or together with the axle. The clamping bracket is equipped with a spring placed on its axis, designed to move this bracket towards the holding bracket, which is equipped with an axis with a spacer rod movably attached to it. The holding bracket is designed to interact with a folding hold lever, which holds it stationary relative to the base of the clamp in the “SCI online” position. The SCI body has a square cross-section. A stop is made on the side surface of the support bracket, and the end of the short arm of the folding support lever is bent 90 degrees towards the holding bracket, and the height of the stop is less than the height of the bent end of the short arm of the folding support lever. The bottom of the clamping bracket is designed to interact with the horizontal surface of the base, and the clamping bracket itself is equipped with an axis with an additional spacer rod movably mounted on it, interacting with the spacer rod of the holding bracket. The SCI body is not a body of rotation and is made, for example, square.
EFFECT: fulfilment of the purpose.
