FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sphere of power supplying of gas internal combustion engines and other low-pressure gas consuming objects supplied from high pressure gas sources. According to proposed method of supply of gas internal combustion engine compressed gas is taken from gas bottle system and reduced natural gas is delivered into engine valves first into multistage pneumatic motor equipped with multistage heat exchangers-heaters, and low-pressure gas getting out of pneumatic motor is directed into receiver and supply system of internal combustion engine. Power is taken both from internal combustion engine and from output shaft of multistage pneumatic motor.
EFFECT: provision of complete utilization of potential expansion energy of compressed gas at reducing its pressure.
