FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the means for determining the level of glucose in the blood by secreted sweat. A body-worn sensor assembly for determining blood glucose contains a substrate on which a layer in the form of a strip of electrically conductive composite material graphene/PEDOT:PSS/ethylene glycol is 2D printed, forming a sensing element. A suspension of graphene and the organic polymer PEDOT:PSS was used for the ink, with the latter being treated with an ink component — ethylene glycol. By the treatment the following ratio is achieved, in relation to the graphene content, a PEDOT:PSS content of 5⋅10-4 to 5⋅10-3 mas.%. Graphene was used in the form of particles with lateral sizes from 100 to 400 nm. Or the content of PEDOT:PSS in relation to the graphene content is achieved by treatment, the ratio is equal to 1⋅10-3 to 5⋅10-1 mas.%. Graphene is used in the form of particles with lateral sizes from 40 to 80 nm. Besides, the substrate is made of flexible, non-conductive fibrous material that ensures adhesion of the printed layers. The fibrous material is selected with a density that ensures the absorption of the layer material and its penetration into the structure of the substrate material, allowing the sensitive element to implement the function of adsorption of glucose molecules from sweat by graphene particles.
EFFECT: increase in the sensitivity of determining the blood glucose content by analyzing excreted sweat is achieved.
