FIELD: quantum electronics.
SUBSTANCE: devices for producing a directed beam of atoms, used in atomic beam frequency standards with atomic beams, for example, strontium, ytterbium, rubidium or cesium. The result is achieved by proposing a source of atoms containing a vacuum flange mechanically connected to a heat insulator-screen, inside of which there is a microreservoir containing tubular heaters located radially on the side of the vacuum flange along the entire length of the microreservoir, on the opposite side of which there is a collimating device attached to it with a pressure cap, while the microreservoir is connected to a heat insulator-screen in the plane of the collimating device.
EFFECT: increasing the thermal insulation of the heating device of the microreservoir and the maintainability of optical and atomic beam frequency standards.
