FIELD: spectrometry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a method for spectrometric analysis of solid material. The method involves the impact of a laser beam of various diameters on a standard sample of material with evaporation of the analysed material of the sample and the formation of characteristic craters, images of which are recorded and their actual areas are measured. The evaporated material is sent to a spectrometer, where the resulting analytical signal is recorded. Then, a calibration characteristic is constructed and the concentrations of the chemical element being determined in the analysed sample of solid material are calculated, taking into account the actual areas of characteristic craters.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of quantitative spectrometric analysis, expanding the range of concentrations of the elements being determined and increasing the reliability of the analysis results.
