METHODS AND DEVICES FOR VISUALIZING ANALYTE MEASUREMENTS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B5/145

Abstract RU 2811450 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system for continuous monitoring of analyte concentration levels in physiological fluid, a method for notifying the user of an event related to the analyte concentration, and a display for displaying a graphical user interface. The system contains an analyte sensor, a transmitter, a processor, and a unit for receiving data from the analyte sensor. The processor is connected to a transmitter and an analyte sensor. The data receiving unit contains a display for displaying a graphical user interface. The display is controlled by a processor to display, via a graphical user interface, statistical analyte concentration levels obtained from the analyte sensor and an animated trend indication. The animated trend display contains the first visual element. The first visual element is configured by the processor to periodically move between the first position and the second position on the display in one of a plurality of trend directions. The direction of the periodic movement trend between the first and the second positions indicates whether the analyte concentration is increasing or decreasing, and the rate of change of the analyte concentration level. The first visual element is also configured to change the period of periodic movement between the first and the second positions to indicate the degree of intensity of the deviation of the analyte concentrate. The first visual element includes a static central bubble positioned relative to two trend-indicating bubbles, wherein each of the two trend-indicating bubbles moves in one of a plurality of trend directions and in accordance with a periodic motion to present a trend indication. When performing the method, concentration of the analyte in the physiological fluid is continuously monitored. Determine the trend of analyte concentration based on statistical measurements. A graphical user interface displays statistical analyte concentration levels and an animated trend indication. Create an animated trend display. The display contains statistical analyte concentration levels and an animated trend indication.

EFFECT: continuous analyte monitoring system is provided with an animated graphical interface to alert the user to events involving changes in analyte concentration to speed up communication and response to events affecting the user.
