FIELD: computing; counting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computing technology for displaying video data. Technical result is achieved by performing spatial scaling of video data from a specified set of video signal sources to fill in the indicated corresponding demonstration windows, only for each video data that is clearly marked as sensitive to scaling and that has been spatially scaled, generating a visual indicator for a visual indication that video sensitive to scaling was spatially scaled from its original spatial resolution; and simultaneously displaying a visual indicator while displaying said scaling sensitive video data that has been spatially scaled.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of displaying video data from a variety of video signal sources on the display.
