FIELD: engineering instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: optical methods, used to measure the pressure of optically transparent liquid and gaseous media. The essence of the proposed method for measuring liquid pressure is that the formation of an optical liquid lens is carried out by controlled introduction of an optically transparent liquid through an opening into an optical cell containing input and output optical windows that are sensitive to the value of liquid pressure, and also ensures the transmission of light through entrance window, liquid lens and exit window. In this case, to simultaneously measure pressure and visualize defects in optical windows and a liquid lens, light is additionally passed through a modulator with a regular structure. The pressure value of the optically transparent liquid in the cell is determined by calculation based on the angle of deflection of the light beam of the resulting liquid lens within the framework of the method of digital processing of television images.
EFFECT: increasing the informativeness of pressure measurements and reducing methodological errors.
