SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the variants of an aerosol generator. An aerosol generator contains a housing; a cartridge coupled to a housing, wherein the cartridge includes: a first container providing storage space, a second container located adjacent the first container, a wick arranged to cooperate with the storage space, and a heater configured to heat the wick; and a light source located on the housing adjacent to the cartridge and configured to supply light to the cartridge, in which the first container includes a window configured to transmit light emitted by the light source, and an insertion space in which one side is open, and a stick containing the environment is inserted into it. Allows light to diffuse outward from the cap without being blocked by the stick inserted into the insertion space, and as a result, the user can more accurately determine the amount of liquid stored in the cartridge with the naked eye when the cap is attached. In addition, the user can check the amount of liquid stored in the cartridge even in low light conditions. The state in the space for inserting the first container is checked, in particular whether a cigarette is inserted or not, whether foreign substances are included or not.

EFFECT: allows light to diffuse outward from the cap without being blocked by the stick inserted into the insertion space, and as a result, the user can more accurately determine the amount of liquid stored in the cartridge with the naked eye when the cap is attached.
