FIELD: aviation; rocket technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the initiation of a mechanism for separating rocket stages. The method for initiating the rocket stage separation mechanism includes manufacturing a housing that communicates with the combustion chamber of the engine, a charge with an igniter capsule, a main piston and a firing pin; the housing is made of three parts. A split ring is installed in the front part of the housing, covering the body of the striker, which is made in the form of separate retaining liners, partially immersing them in the ledge of the striker body, while being covered by a fixing piston, which is pressed through a retaining spring into the middle part of the housing, into which the main piston is installed, covering the body of the striker, and including a device for capturing the locking piston. The gripping device is placed in a slot made in the body of the striker. The main piston is pushed through the main spring, which has a compression force greater than the compression force of the retaining spring, into the limiter. The limiter is installed in the rear part of the housing, providing it with a receiving hole in communication with the engine combustion chamber, and a firing piston covering the striker axis, with an emphasis on the striker body through the firing spring.
EFFECT: preservation of mechanical characteristics during long-term operation at elevated temperatures.
