FIELD: rocket science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to units for separating structural elements. The drive of the separation mechanism includes a housing communicating with the engine combustion chamber, a charge with an igniter capsule, a main piston and a firing pin. It includes two parts: In the front part of the body there is a split ring that covers the body of the striker and is made in the form of separate retaining inserts, partially immersed in a groove on the striker body, having the shape of the immersed part, identical to the shape of the groove on the striker body, and covered by a locking piston, pressed by a retaining spring with a stop at main piston. The main piston encloses the striker body and includes a locking piston capture device. The gripping device is installed in a slot made in the body of the striker. In addition, a unidirectional valve is installed in the front part of the body, closing the internal volume formed between the main piston and the striker body. The main piston rests against a limiter installed in the rear part of the housing, which is equipped with a receiving hole in communication with the combustion chamber of the engine.
EFFECT: preservation of mechanical characteristics during long-term operation at elevated temperatures.
